Sen. Larry Shaw of Fayetteville has been elected chairman of the Council on American-Islamic Relations...among other things, Shaw traveled to Saudi Arabia to participate in a Muslims-only conference on Islam and its "enemies" (why doesn't Buddhism have "enemies"?).
